Cool ART: Tafara

Look at these masterpieces! Aren't theybeautiful! You probably think that these are Piccaso's or Van Gogh's but they are actually the work of a very creative and talented little girl, a.k.a my seven year old sister , Tafara.
With her busy schedule I was lucky to get this interview. If you want to know more read on:

Z: What inspires you to draw?
T: My biggest inspiration is people, especially the people I love!

Z: When did you start drawing?
T: I don't really remember. I just remember always doing it.
Z: What type of art do you enjoy the most?
T: 3D art is my favorite!
Z: Would you ever consider illustrating a children's book?
T: YES!!!!!!!!!

Z: Where do you want your art career to be in 5 years?
T: In 5 years I want to have exhibitions every week!

Z: Are you hoping to become a very famous artist?
T: OF COURSE!!!! More than yes!

Z: What is your favorite color?
T: That's a hard one. I just love all colors.
Well, I wish you all best in the future! I am a big fan and will be rooting for you all the way!!!
P.S. Do you think you could buy me a car once you make it BIG?! :)

The Christmas Crazies

Its the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is around the corner! There's a list of things to do (figure out bedding arrangments, packing bags, etc.). Everyone has something to be either happy or stressed out about. Something that brings both happiness and worry to mind are presents. Everyone is either excited to recieve a gift or stressed out about buying the perfect gift for everyone else. I have something to say to all you perfectionists:

#1- If everything in life was perfect than life would be boring!

#2-The first thing you see may be what that special person REALLY wants ( yes, they may want a garbage can).

#3-Just get what you think that person would like and they MIGHT appreciate that you
put thought into it.

Even if you don't get what you want try to enjoy Christmas. Especially since it only comes once a year!
Happy Holidays,
Zen

GABOSE

Once upon a time a girl named Zen went out to eat with a friend, her parents, and her sister. They thought that they would be in for a regular experience... BUT THEY WERE WRONG!

A restaurant with some of the most ridonculously good food that I have ever tasted was at GABOSE. A Korean and Japanese barbecue located at 4991 N. University Drive in Lauderhill Florida. This food is so good that you will have dreams about it. We started out easy. For an appetizer we had Mool Mandu, steamed hand made dumplings filled with beef and vegetables. These small snacks are good to start out with because they are small and they are so good that they set the tone for the meal to come. For the entree we ordered one beef, one pork, and one chicken dish. The beef and chicken dishes were marinated in BBQ. The beef was called Bulgogi, the chiken was called Dak Bulgogi, and the pork was called Samgyopsalgui. We also ordered Fish Soup, Miso Soup, and Dolsot Bimibab which is steamed rice, grounded beef, and mixed vegetables. All of the entrees came with many side dishes such as assorted vegetables, fish cakes, and steamed white rice. Every thing was good but my favorite part was dessert.

We had tempura fried ice cream and banana. Unfortunately, they didn't last very long.

We also got very good service from our server Inbey ( in-bay) who taught us everything we needed to know about Korean BBQ. Next time we will sit in the special table top charcoal BBQ section. So if you want to eat out tonight go to GABOSE! Just in case you want to call them here is their number: 954-572-4800.
